Unlike Tripura, the Uttar Pradesh team is going into this match with a win under their belt. In a day/night affair played at the same venue in Dehradun, Uttar Pradesh took on Nagaland. Batting first, Uttar Pradesh managed to score 187 runs for the loss of 6 wickets from their quota of 20 overs. The Nagaland reply to this score saw them score 100 runs from their 20 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Uttar Pradesh recorded an easy win in the contest by a huge margin of 87 runs. It was a no-contest when Nagaland batted.
