They looked good for more runs but the Jharkhand bowlers did a wonderful restriction job on them to reduce their score to a gettable one. The pick of the bowlers for Jharkhand was Rahul Shukla who picked up 3 wickets for 23 runs from his quota of 4 overs. The opening ball bowler Vikash Singh also picked up 2 wickets for 34 runs from his 4 overs. Maharashtra also lost an early wicket during their chase with Mandar Bhandari going back early in the second over with just 5 runs on the board. But, after that, there was a good partnership built by Arshin Kulkarni and Ankit Bawne. Kulkarni scored 47 runs from 22 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes while Ankit Bawne hit 81 from 45 balls with 8 fours and 5 sixes. Ankit Bawne remained not out and ensured that the Maharashtra team got across the line comfortably in the end. The Maharashtrian skipper will expect a similar performance from his batters in this game as well.
