Batting first, West Indies made the most of this opportunity and hammered 374 runs from their quota of 50 overs. The Netherlands team did not back down from the challenge and went after it. They received a promising start and were helped by some significant contributions from their middle order. But the game was so tight that it went on to become a tie on the last ball of the innings.
