CMV vs SSR Match Preview
Comilla Victorians were unable to put up much of a fight in their opening match as their leading batters failed to perform. Litton Das, Dawid Malan, and Mosaddek Hossain would have been expected to play a big role for the Victorians but all three of them got starts and then got out.
Malan looked good in his brief stay, though, and he is certainly someone that could come up with a massive match-winning inning.
The bowling lineup had a tough outing in the previous match as well. Fazalhaq Farooqi and Mustafizur Rahman were perhaps the two bowlers that escaped too much punishment and kept some measure of control.
Najmul Hossain Shanto, Towhid Hridoy, Zakir Hasan, and Mushfiqur Rahim have all played well for the Sylhet Strikers showing intent and the ability to score at a high strike rate. Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim (two Pakistani bowlers seemingly discarded from the national team) will lead the bowling attack for the Sylhet Strikers.
Two confident chases have resulted in two wins from two matches for the Strikers. That is an excellent start and should not be discarded as a fluke.
