Surrey has played some excellent cricket so far this season, winning 7 of the 9 matches they have played so far. They defeated Somerset in the last match to reclaim the top spot on the table, thanks to a better NRR. A win here will further cement its place in the top 2.
Will Jacks has been brilliant with both, the bat as well as the ball, and played a pivotal role in his team’s success so far. He, and his opening partner, Laurie Evans, are the top two run-getters for the team. Jacks gas also picked up 10 wickets. Jamie Overturn and Tom Curran have struggled a bit with the bat and will be looking to turn things around here.
Their lack of form will put added pressure on Sam Curran to score runs. Surrey has a lot of depth in their batting as the likes of Sean Abbott and Chris Jordan can all swing the willow to good effect. Sunil Narine is the leading wicket-taker for the team with 14 wickets and will once again lead the spin attack.
