India U19

India put up a clinical performance during the group stages, winning all 3 matches by a healthy margin. It not only helped the team cruise through to the Super Six stages but also helped them start at the top of the table, thanks to an excellent NRR.

Arshin Kulkarni and Adarsh Singh will look to give the team a strong start in this match. While Adarsh Singh has been consistent throughout the series, Arshin Kulkarni scored an excellent century in the last match to help India post a mammoth target.

Musheer Khan will be a vital cog in the middle order. He has scored a century and a half-century in his last 3 innings and is also the leading run-scorer for the team. In addition, the likes of Uday Saharan and SS Dhas have chipped in on various occasions.

Coming to the bowling, Naman Tiwari and Saumy Pandey have been excellent, picking up 8 wickets each. However, the others, including Raj Limbani, Priyanshu Moliya, and Murugan Abhishek need to bowl better as we enter a crucial phase of the tournament. 

New Zealand U19

The Black Caps won two of their group stage matches and finished 2nd on the Group D table. They are coming into this contest on the back of a heavy defeat against Pakistan and will look to bounce back in this match.

Tom Jones and Luke Watson have failed to give the team a good start and will look to make amends here. The middle order consists of Snehith Reddy, Oliver Tewatiya, Oscar Jackson, and Lachlan Stackpole. While all of them are quality players, they aren’t consistent enough and that is something that the team will need to work on in this match.

New Zealand's bowling has been pretty ordinary so far and that could likely be one more weakness for them. They failed to pick up even a single wicket in the match against Pakistan on Saturday and had to face a heavy loss. Matt Rowe is the leading wicket-taker for them with 6 wickets.

He will be joined by Mason Clarke and Oscar Jackson in the pace department, while Oliver Tewatiya and Snehith Reddy will feature in the spin attack.
