UAE vs WI Match Preview

Openers Muhammad Waseem and Aryansh Sharma have struggled in both matches and have failed to give the team a good start. Vriitya Aravind, who bats in at number 3, has got good starts but has failed to convert them into a big inning.

The middle order has struggled for UAE as Lovepreet Singh and Asif Khan have failed to get going. Basil Hameed, who was playing for the first time in this series on Tuesday scored a gritty knock of 49 runs and will be looking to play a similar role here.

He put up an 80-run partnership with Ali Naseer to get his team to a respectable total. Naseer is in excellent form, scoring half-centuries in both matches. He has also done his bit with the ball, picking up 2 wickets in the last match.

He has given good support to Zahoor Khan, who has picked up 4 wickets and is the leading wicket-taker for the tournament. Aayan Afzal Khan will chip in with his left-arm spin and play an important role in the middle overs.

Brandon King and Johnson Charles have done a good job at the top of the order, and have provided West Indies with good starts in both matches. They put up a century stand in the last match, with both players scoring individual half-centuries.

This was a second consecutive 50+ score for Brandon King, who scored a century in the opening fixture. Shamarh Brooks, Keacy Carty, and Shai Hope make up for a solid middle order, while the all-rounders, Roston Chase and Kavem Hodge add depth to the batting. West Indies has a pretty well-rounded bowling attack too.

The seamers, Keemo Paul and Odean Smith have picked up 3 wickets each, while Dominic Drakes has picked up 2. The spin attack will be led by Yannic Cariah, who too has picked up 3 wickets. He will be supported by Roston Chase and Kavem Hodge.

Weather Report

The weather is expected to remain warm and dry.

Pitch Report

The pitch at Sharjah is usually dry and offers a good amount of bounce and pace. There is very little grass on the surface and the quicker bowlers will need to be disciplined with their line and length. A score of around 260 is a par score here. The spinners will come into action as the match progresses.

Dream11 Prediction

We are backing West Indies to win here. They have hardly put a foot wrong in this series. The top-order batting is in good shape and most of the bowlers have chipped in to pick up wickets at key junctures. On the other hand, UAE has struggled to put up any sort of resistance here.

Top Picks

Brandon King: Brandon King has scored 176 runs in two matches, including a century and a half-century. He has an excellent strike rate of 96.70.

Johnson Charles: Johnson Charles scored a blazing half-century in the last match, taking the match away from the opposition. He has partnered well with Brandon King at the top of the order.

Ali Naseer: Naseer has scored half-centuries in both of his innings in this series and is by far the most consistent batsman for UAE.
