Ireland started off pretty poorly but bounced back remarkably well. They got so good by the time group stage ended that they defeated West Indies by a significant margin. They have pretty much everyone in form and can be a big threat if they get things right. If they can do that, Sri Lanka will have their work cut out.
Sri Lanka won the Asia Cup but their graph has been nosediving since then. They were defeated by Namibia in the opening game and although they won both their matches, they were far from their best. They are now likely to be missing few of their best players as well with injuries impacting them. Unless they play really to their potential, they are going to find things pretty difficult.
