They are currently in 5th position in the points table, two places above Southern Brave Women. The top batter for Originals has been Laura Wolvaardt, with 49 runs to her credit.

In their last encounter against Trent Rockets, the Originals, women batted first to post a score of 137 runs while losing six wickets from their 100 balls. As usual, they made a sluggish start. Emma Lamb, Beth Mooney, and Laura Wolvaardt all got out early, leaving the Originals in a difficult position. But later on, Evelyn Jones and Kathryn Bryce took on the opposition to hit 34 and 32, respectively, to help Manchester reach a good score of 137 runs. During their effort with the ball, Katheryn Bryce held her nerve to bowl a good last over, not allowing Nat Sciver-Brunt a boundary of the last ball required to win the game.
