The Royals have a well-balanced side but some of their key players have shown poor form in recent matches. Jos Buttler had a brilliant start to the season but has been seen struggling in the middle. He is so important to the Royals that a lack of runs from him is a massive headache for the team management.

Similarly, Shimron Hetmeyer, who had won RR quite a few matches thanks to his hard-hitting abilities in the death overs, has been dismissed for single-digit scores in each of his last 5 innings. We expected Hetmyer to be a bit subdued in conditions where spin will dominate.

In such a situation, there will be extra pressure on the likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Devdutt Padikkal, and Dhruv Jurel to score runs here. The youngsters have done very well for RR and that is a huge positive. Picking Jaiswal in your fantasy team is a no-brainer right now.

The Royals have a pretty good bowling unit at their disposal and they have done a decent job so far. The spinners, Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal have picked up 13 wickets each while Trent Boult has 10 wickets against his name.

Sandeep Sharma and Adam Zampa have chipped in too and will be looking to bowl another good spell here. Facing an out-of-form Sunrisers, the Rajasthan Royals have a good chance of bouncing back here.

With the pitches getting slower. We think, the spinners will do the most damage.

Aiden Markram will be pretty disappointed with the result of their latest match. At one stage, the team was cruising along as they chased a target of 172 against the KKR, as they needed just 38 runs from the last 5 overs, with 5 wickets in hand. However, they botched up to lose the match and crashed to their 4th defeat in 5 matches.

While the return of form for Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen is a positive for the team, the woes in their batting line-up continue. Mayank Agarwal, Rahul Tripathi, and Abhishek Sharma lack consistency and Harry Brook is proving to be the biggest dud in the team. Barring his century at Eden Gardens, he has failed to contribute meaningfully to the team.

The bowling too has been a disappointment. Much was expected from the pace department as it contained some big names including Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, Umran Malik, and Marco Jansen. Yet, it is the spinner, Mayank Markande, who is the leading wicket-taker for them.
