RCB vs CSK Match Preview
Virat Kohli scored his second consecutive half-century and his third of the season to power RCB to a total of 174 in the first innings. Faf Du Plessis, Mahipal Lomror, and Glenn Maxwell have all got runs under their belt and will be feeling quite confident as they take on an average bowling attack of the Super Kings.
However, the lower middle order hasn’t been in the best of forms this season. Dinesh Kartik, who hardly faltered in the last season, has scored 2 ducks in his 4 outings and has struggled to middle the ball. With Wanindu Hasaranga finally making it into the team, the RCB now has considerable depth in their batting which can come in handy under pressure situations.
Vijaykumar Vyshak made a dream debut in the match against the Delhi Capitals as he picked up 3 wickets for just 20 runs. He, along with Hasaranga, is likely to play a key role in this match. The pace attack for the RCB looks pretty good too, thanks to Mohammad Siraj, Harshal Patel, and Wayne Parnell.
With the top order consisting of Devon Conway, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Ajinkya Rahane looking in good form, the Super Kings will be hoping to get a good start from them here.
However, Shivam Dube and Ambati Rayudu haven’t been in the best of forms with the bat so far and will be looking to get some runs under their belts here. Another point of worry for the visitors will be their pace bowling. While Tushar Deshpande has managed to claim wickets, he has been very expensive, especially in the death overs. Maheesh Theekshana and Akash Singh too leaked quite a few runs in the last match.
Weather Report
The weather is expected to remain clear with temperatures between 26 and 31 degrees Celsius.
Pitch Report
The Chinnaswamy Stadium offers an excellent pitch to bat on and we are likely to see another high-scoring contest. The match against DC was a spin-friendly surface but we don't think RCB will give CSK such a surface! While no total can be considered a safe total here, the teams batting first will be looking to score over 200 runs. The spinners have done reasonably well here but they will need to be disciplined with their line and length.

Dream11 Prediction
We are backing the Royal Challengers Bangalore to win here. They enjoy a good record in their recent home games and will be looking to continue with the winning momentum. Their top-order batting is in good form and the depth provided by the all-rounders is an added advantage for them. On the other hand, the CSK hasn’t been in the best of forms of late and we are likely to see them struggle a bit here.
Top Picks
Virat Kohli: Virat Kohli has an excellent record against CSK and is the second-highest run-getter against them in all IPLs. He is once again in brilliant form here.
Ravindra Jadeja: One of the most dynamic all-rounders in the IPL, one cannot keep Jadeja out of action, be it with the ball, bat, or on the field. In his IPL career, he has scored a total of 2531 runs and also picked up 138 wickets.
Faf du Plessis: Du Plessis is an explosive batsman at the top of the order and has a penchant for scoring some quick runs, especially in the Powerplay. He has scored 2 half-centuries in his 4 innings this season and we can expect to see another big score from him here.
