BAA vs SPI Match Preview
In a big change, Lauren Winfield-Hill will take over the reins of the Barmy Army team from Heather Knight for this season. Winfield-Hill has been a consistent performer with the bat for England over the past few years. She will be supported by Deandra Dottin and Laura Wolvaardt, both of whom are capable of scoring runs at a brisk pace.
All-rounders Roberta Avery and Shemaine Campbelle add depth to the batting. The pace attack will be spearheaded by Tara Norris, who impressed everyone with the ball in the recently concluded WPL.
Nicola Carey will once again lead the Spirit Women team here. She led her team from the front in the last season and was quite consistent with the bat. In addition to Carey, the Spirit Women have a strong top order consisting of Sophia Dunkley, Natthakan Chantam, Bismah Mahroof, and Sarah Bryce.
