WPR vs KN Match Prediction - Nov 24, 2022

After a few years of rebuilding efforts, South African cricket is once again on the rise and the is evident by the results they have been putting in, at least in the longest version of the game. A lot of that must be attributed to their domestic structure and the players coming through it. We have the CSA Four-day tournament already in progress and the competition has been pretty exciting so far.

Up next in the tournament, we have Western Province taking on the Knights in an important match from the standings point of view. Although it’s just the beginning of the season, points on the board early on can be of high advantage later on. We expect both sides to come out all guns blazing in a match that is to be played on 24th November 2022 at the Newlands, Cape Town.

WPR vs KN Team Previews

Western Province

Western Province started their campaign with a humdrum draw against the Titans but quickly got their act together as they thereafter scored a terrific win over Poland. They are now already in a pretty good position on the ladder and another win here will only strengthen their chances. As it currently stands on the points table, they are placed second in Division 1 with one win from two matches and 38.98 points. A win here will push them to the top of the table and that's exactly what they will be aiming for. They have the momentum and a fantastic team on-paper and all they would need to do is to play to their potential. If they can do that here, they will be in business big time.

Western Province Playing 11

Aviwe Mgijima, Beuran Hendricks, Daniel Smith, Dane Paterson, Edward Moore, George Linde, Kyle Verreynne, Nandre Burger, Tony de Zorzi, Tshepo Moreki, Mohammad Yaseen Vallie.

Knights

The Knights are one of the most followed teams in South Africa's domestic circuit and it has been surprising to see them not do well in the recent times. They have been poor in almost all of the domestic tournaments and the same seem to be happening this time around as well. This year as well, they have been pretty poor in the CSA four-day challenge and will be looking to turn their fortunes around. Out of a total of two matches played, they have not won any. They have a decent side on paper and if they are able to play to their potential here, getting past them could prove to be exceedingly difficult.

Knights Playing 11

WPR vs KN Betting Tips

Both the sides would be desperate to win this match, albeit for different reasons. The Knights would want to get their campaign up and running whereas West Province will be targeting the top of the table position. Considering how the two sides have played, Western Province are certainly ahead. They also have a slightly better-balanced side between the two and are, therefore, our pick as the favorites to win here.
