South Australia played their last game against Queensland in Brisbane. It was a hard-fought affair with the South Australians registering a win by a wafer-thin margin of 3 runs. The South Australian bowling attack was led by Nathan McAndrew who picked up a 9-wicket haul in the game. He was adjudged the player of the match. Batting first, South Australia scored 359 runs for the loss of 5 wickets when they declared their innings. Queensland scored 238 runs in their first innings. The South Australians were bowled out for 151 runs in their second innings. 

The Queensland team fell 3 runs short during their chase of 273 runs in their last innings. Queensland appeared to be in control during the chase till Jordon Buckingham and Nathan McSweeney provided a terrific turnaround to the game. The Queensland skipper Usman Khawaja took his team close to a win but lost his wicket to Buckingham with close to 5 overs remaining to end the day. Buckingham knocked back the leg stump of Khawaja to hand his team a terrific win. The South Australian first innings set the victory for them with Henry Hunt and Nathan McSweeney hitting hundreds. Henry Hunt scored 162 runs at the top of the order while McSweeney hit 112 from 253 balls with 13 fours. Jake Fraser McGurk was the top run-getter for SA in their second innings with 33 runs. Several players got a start but no one could convert it into a big one.
