RR vs LSG Team Previews
Rajasthan Royals
Buoyed by a well-balanced team, the Rajasthan Royals have been clinical in their performance this season, winning 4 of the 5 matches that they have played so far and are currently at the top of the points table.
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Joss Buttler have been pretty consistent at the top of the order and have provided the team with many good starts. Devdutt Padikkal has played well in a couple of matches but has failed to convert his starts into big inning.
Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmeyer are both in excellent form in the middle order and the team can rely on them to steady the innings during the middle overs. They can also accelerate should the need arise. Dhruv Jurel is shaping up to be a nice finisher, while Ravichandran Ashwin and Jason Holder add depth to the batting.
Just like the batsmen, the bowlers too have been pretty consistent for the Royals. Yuzvendra Chahal has picked up 11 wickets while Ashwin has got 6. Throw Adam Zampa in the mix and you have one of the most potent spin attacks in the league.
Similarly, the seam attack appears quite strong too, thanks to the likes of Sandeep Sharma, Trent Boult, and Jason Holder.
Rajasthan Royals Playing 11
Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Shimron Hetmyer, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jason Holder, Trent Boult, S Sharma, YS Chahal.
Lucknow Super Giants
The Lucknow Super Giants have been a bit inconsistent this season and have lost 2 matches. Nevertheless, they are in the top-4 and will be looking to win here to have a smooth road ahead.
KL Rahul will be disappointed with the outcome of the match against the Punjab Kings, as they ended up on the losing side in a close encounter. Despite getting a good start from Rahul and Kyle Mayers, the Super Giants failed to capitalize and ended the first inning with just a par score.
While Nicholas Pooran and Marcus Stoinis had an off day, the form of Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, and Ayush Badoni is a cause of concern for the team. The bowlers put up a stiff resistance with Mark Wood and Ravi Bishnoi picking up 2 wickets each.
However, it was the debutant, Yudhvir Singh Charak, who stole the limelight by picking up 2 wickets and also being very economical. But with a mediocre total to defend, the bowling wasn’t enough to stop LSG from crashing to defeat.
The Super Giants are scheduled to play the Royals just once during the group stages and will be eager to make a mark against them.

Pitch and Conditions
This is the first match of this season which will be played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The pitch offers a good and even bounce, which will make it easy for the batsmen to play their shots. However, there are some green patches, that will offer assistance to the quicker bowlers.
The average first-inning score here is around 170.
The weather is expected to remain warm with temperatures of between 30-33 degrees Celsius.
RR vs LSG Betting Tips
While both teams are pretty strong on paper, we feel that the Rajasthan Royals hold an edge here. Most of their batsmen are in good form and the bowling attack is well-rounded too. On the other hand, the middle order hasn’t clicked yet for the Super Giants and they are interdependent on the top order to score runs for them.
Bet on the Rajasthan Royals to win.
Bonus Cricket Bets
The Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur is one of Jos Buttler’s favorite hunting grounds. In his 10 innings here, he has scored 4 half-centuries and has an average of 54.25. We are therefore backing him to play a good inning here.
Both, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler have been pretty consistent for the Royals at the top of the order and have scored a total of 5 half-centuries between them. A return to their home ground will only help them do better here and that’s why we are backing them to put up a higher opening partnership.
The pitch at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium is known to help the quicker bowlers as compared to the spinners. There are some green patches on the surface which will help generate some movement off the seam. With Mark Wood in excellent form, we are backing him to be the top bowler for LSG here.
