Dunkley, especially, has been very disappointing and only scored 25 runs in four games. Sutherland (49) and Lanning (74) had good starts but are also in need of another big game. Capsey (92) and Bouchier (82) remain the two quickest scorers and are at least giving the Stars hope.
The Stars have had some tough opponents recently, as the Strikers and Heat are no one’s idea of a pushover. The bowling has been decent, with Sutherland especially giving the best effort of 7/102 (7.46 ER). Capsey and Day both have 4 wickets each, but Day has had two matches without a wicket, so she needs to pick up the pace.

There’s no doubt that Mooney (120 runs) and Devine (124 runs) are two of the best batters in the WBBL, but the help is finally coming with Darke now picking up runs (54) and Winfield-Hill (70) also contributing. The rest of the batting order isn’t too strong, so it mostly falls on the shoulders of these four players.
The bowling is in good shape, with Ainsworth earning figures of 7/75, while Edgar and King are chipping in with 5 wickets each. Campbell isn’t performing too great with 2/52, so batters will likely target her overs to score major runs.
