MLRW vs PERW Match Prediction & Betting Tips - Nov 11, 2023
This could be one of the more uninteresting games of the season, as the third-placed Scorchers (5-3) face the last-placed Renegades (1-7). Perth is looking great after their huge 39-run victory over the Heat, while the Renegades have lost six games in a row, most recently to the Strikers by six wickets.
The biggest news for the Scorchers is that Nat Sciver-Brunt has replaced Lauren Winfield-Hill, after she was ruled out for the entire season due to an injury.
Melbourne Renegades Women vs. Perth Scorchers Women will take place at the Junction Oval, Melbourne, on November 11th. See our cricket betting tips page for all the latest news and tips for major cricket matches.
MLRW vs PERW Team Previews
Melbourne Renegades Women
The Renegades' poor season-long performance from Matthews, who is usually an engaging and reliable T20 batter, is the team's most worrying pattern. In just eight games, Matthews has only managed 99 runs! Beaumont, on the other hand, has consistently been dependable and has scored 199 runs, while Wareham is performing very well, scoring 197 runs at a 39.40 average.
We had expected Kaur to get more runs after her brilliant start, but there was a time when she only picked up 32 runs in three games. Still, she's been better lately after scoring 45, 47, and 52* in her recent matches, so she's likely the only hope for the Renegades with a total of 250 runs.
Matthews has been bowling quite well to start the season, but she's tailed off recently with just two wickets across four matches. The Renegades are losing games because of poor bowling that just isn't threatening enough. Wareham, too, feels like she's given up, as she hasn't taken a wicket in 3 games and is getting smashed around the ground.
Melbourne Renegades Women Playing 11
Hayley Matthews, Tammy Beaumont, Harmanpreet Kaur, Georgia Wareham, Jess Duffin, Courtney Webb, Josephine Dooley, Emma De Broughe, Sarah Coyte, Ella Hayward, Sara Kennedy.
Perth Scorchers Women
The Scorchers look like a threat once again with that convincing victory over the Heat, mostly thanks to Devine’s epic 106 runs. Devine is pouring in the runs at the moment and is currently on 345, but she’s been quite consistent with a good average of 49.28. Devine is getting decent help from Mooney (270), Jones (148), Darke (156), and certainly Sciver-Brunt (75) looks good in two games.
For the bowling, we’re most impressed by Edgar (12/187) and King (11/183 with 6.42 ER). These two are getting a lot of good assistance from Ainsworth (10/178) and Devine (9/207), although there needs to be a lot of improvement from Mills, who only has 5/145 (10.48 ER).
Perth Scorchers Women Playing 11
Beth Mooney, Sophie Devine, Maddy Darke, Natalie Sciver, Amy Jones, Chloe Piparo, Amy Edgar, Piepa Cleary, Alana King, Lilly Mills, Taneale Peschel.
MLRW vs PERW Toss Prediction
When the captain wins the toss, they should prefer to bat first so they can take full advantage of a pitch that is ideal for shot-making. Teams who have opted to bat first have won slightly more than half of the WBBL matches played here.

Pitch and Conditions
Because of the pitch's consistent pace and swing at Junction Oval, batters may more easily find their shots and utilise the speed to drive the ball to the boundary. This location often suits batters well, and the outfield appears to be becoming faster these days, which is ideal for T20 games.
MLRW vs PERW Betting Tips
The Mostbet odds will be tempting for the Renegades, but honestly, it’s just so hard to imagine them winning this tough game against a great team like the Scorchers. At the start of the season, we had some hope for Melbourne, but Matthews can barely bat or bowl, and Wareham is giving away too many runs. Kaur has looked good at times as a batter, but she isn’t enough to provide some wins.
Perth has a tonne of quality batters who can take over a game single-handedly, including Devine, Mooney, and Jones. Furthermore, the Scorchers have several bowlers that can all take big wickets and remove the dismal Renegades batters, such as Edgar and King.
This one won’t even be close, bet on the Perth Scorchers to win.
Bonus Cricket Bets
The odds are certainly better for the Renegades, but we trust the Scorchers to hit big runs. Perth has more aggressive run-scorers like Devine and Mooney, and in the last match, the Scorchers scored 22 fours compared to only 16 from the Renegades.
Now is a good time to bet on Devine while she's in the zone. She has a SR of 150.65 and is leading the WBBL in runs scored with 345. While she may not get a century like last match again, there's a good chance she can destroy the Renegades' bowlers, who haven't been looking good at all. She's opening the batting, too, so she has a chance to score big.
We would like the odds to be a bit better, yet Edgar is an up-and-coming talent who can remove many of the struggling Renegades batters. Her total of 12 wickets for 187 runs is impressive, and she can do a lot of damage in this game.
