The Sunrisers have a strong batting line-up on paper. But except for Rahul Tripathi, none of the batsmen have managed to impress so far. Harry Brook, who is among the most expensive overseas player for this season, has managed to score just 26 runs in his 3 innings so far. Similarly, the likes of Mayank Agarwal and Glen Phillips have failed to get going. We are not looking past Brook just yet, but there is no doubt he needs to perform.
Aiden Markram, who was out for a duck in his first game of the season, has managed to get some runs under his belt and will be looking to put up another big score here, while Heinrich Klaasen will play the role of a finisher. All-rounders Marco Jansen and Washington Sundar do add some depth to the batting.
SRH has a strong pace attack consisting of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, and T Natarajan, and they will be hoping to put up a good show against the in-form batsmen of KKR. The spin attack does however feel a bit weak, as Washington Sundar and Mayank Markande both lack the temperament to bowl under pressure.
