India Capitals

The Capitals had an excellent outing in the last season as they finished at the top of the points table and also went on to lift the title. They will now be eager to put up a similar performance here.

The indomitable Gautam Gambhir will lead the team. He didn’t have the best of times in the last season and will look to put up a better performance this season. He will have the support of Hashim Amla, Kevin Pietersen, Bharat Chipli, and Kirk Edwards in the batting line-up.

Ashley Nurse was the team’s top performer with the bat last season, scoring 247 runs. He is also a capable bowler who can chip in with a few wickets. Pravin Tambe was the leading wicket-taker of the tournament in 2022 and will lead the spin attack. He will have the support of KP Appanna at the other end.

The pace attack will be led by Munaf Patel and Dilhara Fernando. 

Bhilwara Kings

The Bhilwara Kings will consider themselves a bit unlucky as after putting up a good performance in the group stage, they received a drubbing at the hands of the Capitals in the Finals.

The Kings have managed to retain most of its core team from the last season. William Porterfield was the leading run-getter of the tournament last time and will again be a key part of Bhilwara's batting unit. He will be joined by Lendl Simmons at the top of the order.

Shane Watson, Yusuf Pathan, and Irfan Pathan are all capable all-rounders and can contribute with both, the bat and the ball. The bowling unit is a bit weakened with the exit of Fidel Edwards and S Sreesanth.

In their absence, Ryan Sidebottom will lead the pace attack along with Dhammika Pradad and Anureet Singh, while Rahul Singh is the quality spinner on the team.
