India put up a clinical performance in their opening fixture as they defeated Bangladesh by 84 runs. The team currently sits at the top of the Group A table and another win here will almost certainly take them through to the Super Six stage.
Adarsh Singh was in excellent form at the top of the order as he scored 76 runs and held on to one end even as India lost a couple of quick wickets during the Powerplay. His partnership with skipper Uday Saharan, who too scored a half-century, was instrumental in getting India to a match-winning total.
Arshin Kulkarni, who has had a good few months in the U19 circuit, suffered a rare off day and will be looking to score some runs in this match. The others in the middle order include Musheer Khan, Priyanshu Moliya, and Aravelly Avanish.
Raj Limbani and Naman Tiwari will lead the attack with the new ball. However, India will bank on its potent spin attack to once again deliver the goods in this match. Saumy Pandey was the pick of the bowlers in the opening fixture, picking up 4 wickets.
