Afghanistan
Afghanistan will be determined to bounce back after losing the series opener in Sharjah, where they failed to reach a relatively modest 150-run target. Afghanistan are the hosts of this tournament and, although homeground advantage is not entirely theirs, it certainly favours them.
Afghanistan's top four batters shared a mere 12 runs in the first match. The home side definitely need more from Ibrahim Zadran, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and company. Gurbaz, in particular, will want to bounce back from the first-ball duck that got Afghanistan's chase off to a poor start.
Rashid Khan, true to form, was Afghanistan's most prolific bowler in the series opener. He took three wickets and impressed throughout a telling four-over spell. Newcomer Nangeyalia Kharote took two wickets - the left-arm spinner is a hot prospect in T20I cricket.

It's always entertaining to watch a good leg-spinner do his thing. White was named player of the match for completing figures of four for 20 in the previous T20I. He enjoyed the conditions in Sharjah - these conditions should suit him again.
