Andhra

Andhra Pradesh suffered back-to-back losses at the start of this season but has bounced back during the last week. The team has registered consecutive wins in its last two matches and as a result, has climbed up the points table and is now placed 6th in Group C.

However, with difficult fixtures against Saurashtra and Railways coming up, Andhra will need to make the most out of this match.

Ashwin Hebbar and Srikar Bharat were in excellent form in the match against Gujarat as the duo put together 87 runs for the opening wicket. Both of them scored individual half-centuries and will look to put up a similar performance. Ricky Bhui is the top run-getter for Andhra this season.

He has scored 174 runs at an average of 87.00. He will have the support of Hanuma Vihari and Shaik Rasheed in the middle order. C Stephen has picked up consecutive 3 wicket hauls in the last two matches and is the leading wicket-taker with 8 wickets.

He will lead the attack alongside Kavuri Saitaja and KV Sasikanth. In the spim department, T Vijay and Manish Golamaru have picked up 3 wickets each. 

Manipur

Just like in the previous edition, Manipur has struggled to perform this season too and is yet to register a win after playing 4 matches. With just 3 matches to go, the team is all but eliminated from the race to the play-offs. Nevertheless, they will be playing for pride on Monday.

Prafullomani Singh will open the batting for the team and will be joined by Basir Rahman. The former has played well in patches but Manipur will need him to play a big inning if they want to post a big total. Priyojit Singh is the top-scorer with 120 runs and is a vital cog in the middle order.

However, other batsmen including Bikash Singh, C Bidash, and Al Bashid Muhammed have struggled to perform with the bat. Manipur’s biggest weakness this season is the poor performance of its bowlers. The team has managed to pick up an aggregate of 11 wickets in 4 games, allowing the opposition batting to dominate. Most of their key bowlers have gone for over 8 runs an over.

Rex Rajkumar will start the proceedings with the new ball and will be joined by B Konthoujam and C Bidash. The spin department is a bit understaffed with Kishan Sangha being the only specialist spinner.
