UAE vs WI Match Preview

Muhammad Waseem and Aryansh Sharma will be looking to give the UAE team a good start here. Waseem is by far the most experienced batter on the team and UAE will bank on him to take on the opposition bowling. The middle order consisting of Vriitya Aravind, Rameez Shehzad, and Asif Khan will play an important role during the middle overs.

All-rounders including Rohan Mustafa and Afzal Khan add depth to the batting. Ali Naseer played a brilliant knock lower down the order in the last match and will look to put up a similar performance here.

Talking about the bowling, Junaid Siddiqui and Ali Naseer will open the attack with the new ball and look to take some early wickets.

Aayan Afzal Khan and Rohan Mustafa were very economical in the last match and they will once again play an important role here. Karthik Maiyappan is another dependable spinner in the squad and although he was very expensive in the previous match, he is not someone that you should write off completely.

Brandon King scored a brilliant century in the opening match which helped the West Indies achieve the 203-run target with plenty of overs to spare. West Indies have a strong batting line-up consisting of players like Johnson Charles, Shamarh Brooks, Keacy Carty, and Shai Hope.

The team also has some big hitters like Keemo Paul, Roston Chase, and Kavem Hodge lower down the order who can add some valuable runs towards the end of an innings. The visitors have a potent seam attack made up of Keemo Paul, Dominic Drakes, and Odean Smith, who bowled well in the last match. They took as many as 7 wickets between them.

The trio will once again enjoy the good pace and bounce off the pitch. The spin attack is made up of Roston Chase and Yannic Cariah who will look to dry the runs in the middle overs.

Weather Report

The weather is expected to remain clear with temperatures of around 35 degrees Celsius.

Pitch Report

The surface at Sharjah is generally considered to be good to bat on and we expect it to be no different. There is good bounce and pace on offer especially early on. The average first-inning score here is around 270. The pitch will slow down as the match progresses.

Dream11 Prediction

We are backing West Indies to win here. They have a much stronger team compared to the UAE and the way they dominated the proceedings in the first match should give them plenty of confidence. On the other hand, the hosts lack the quality of players and their poor experience at the international level can work against them here.

Top Picks
