SW vs ADKR Match Preview

Tom Kohler Cadmore has unleashed his true potential and is the leading scorer for the Warriors. Scoring a half-century and a superb century, Cadmore has scored an aggregate of 213 runs at a strike rate of 167.71.

He has received good support from Joe Denly and Rahmanullah Gurbaz, both of whom have been pretty consistent. The team also has other big hitters like Mohammad Nabi and Evin Lewis but they are yet to play to their full potential. The bowling attack is heavily reliant on seam bowling. Naveen ul-Haq and Junaid Siddique have delivered the goods, picking up 9 wickets a piece.

Led by Sunil Narine, the Knight Riders have some of the biggest hitters in T20 cricket, including Colin Ingram, Brandon King, and Paul Stirling.

But the players have failed to perform as a unit. Andre Russell is the only player who has contributed consistently with both, the bat as well as the ball. Narine is the leading wicket-taker with 5 wickets in as many outings but he will need support from the likes of Akeal Hosein, Lahiru Kumara, and Zawar Farid going forward.

Weather Report

The weather has been surprisingly wet over the UAE for the last couple of days, leading to no result for a couple of matches, including one at Sharjah. However, the skies are expected to clear up by the weekend and we should see some pleasant breezy weather here on Saturday.

Pitch Report

The pitch at Sharjah is pretty flat and allows the batsmen to score freely, especially in the first innings. However, it tends to slow down as the game progresses, allowing the spinners to get some good turn. Anything over 160 can be quite tricky to chase here.

Notable stats

Joe Denly's Superb Average

Denly has played some good innings for the Warriors this season, lending heft to the middle order. In 6 matches, he has scored 136 runs at an average of 45.33.

Team News

There are no reports of injuries from either squad and therefore we expect an unchanged eleven from both sides

Dream11 Prediction

We are backing the Sharjah Warriors to win this match. They seem to have built up good momentum since the last few matches with both, the bowlers as well as the batsmen stepping up. On the other side, despite having some of the best T20 players in the squad, the Knight Riders are looking pretty deflated at the moment.

Top Picks

Andre Russell: Over the last few years, Russell has been the mainstay of many T20 franchises and the Knight Riders are no different. Russell has picked up 4 wickets and scored 108 runs in 5 matches so far.

Junaid Siddique: Siddique has bowled pretty well this season for the Warriors and has picked up 9 wickets in 6 matches. He has been quite economical too, at 6.96 runs per over.

Mohammad Nabi: Though not in the best of forms this season, Nabi is a valuable addition to any T20 squad as he has scored 5231 runs and picked up 328 wickets in his career so far.
