SCT vs IRE Match Preview
In the previous match, George Munsey played an excellent inning to help guide Scotland to a good total. None of the other batters did much although a few got starts. There was also just one six-hit in the entire inning.
The bowling lineup for Scotland is not great but Mark Watt showed why he is regarded so highly on the international circuit. His three wickets for just 12 runs in tough situations changed the match.
Ireland's batting is certainly not worse than Scotland's on paper. Paul Stirling, Harry Tector, Lorcan Tucker, and Andrew Balbirnie can all bat and just one of them needs to have a decent inning to give Ireland a real chance.
Josh Little is the standout bowler in the group and has decent support in Mark Adair, George Dockrell, and Barry McCarthy.
