PAK vs ENG Match Preview

Pakistan's squad has just one major change with Fakhar Zaman being replaced by Shan Masood. This is why we also expect that single change in their playing eleven from the team that played in the Asia Cup. There will be some pressure on the batters to improve their strike rates which we think should happen quite naturally while playing in home conditions.

England's lineup is a lot more difficult to predict right now. With so many different options in their squad, a solid playing eleven can be constructed in several different ways. England likes to be batting-heavy and so expect batting options till 8 or even 9 with the all-rounders stepping in to help bowl the overs.

Weather Report

There is no rain predicted on match day. We expect a fair bit of dew to fall and that will things very difficult for the chasing team. After the toss, you should try to pick the top-order batters of the chasing team and spinners from the team that bowls first.

Pitch Report

The pitch should be flat and good for batting. There is very little for the bowlers to work with especially once the dew comes into effect. In general, the matches at the National Stadium, Karachi are high-scoring and scores of 180-190 can be expected in both inning.

Top-Ranked Batsmen in T20 Cricket

Mohammad Rizwan is the number one ranked batter in world cricket right now when it comes to T20 internationals. However, his strike rate has been a cause of national debate. Whether he changes his approach that has brought him so many runs so far will be interesting to see.

Dream11 Prediction

We think the two teams are quite evenly matched. England has more power in its batting and may be able to surprise the Pakistani team that is currently looking to evolve its style of playing.

Top Picks

Babar Azam - He has been short of runs for a few matches but back in home conditions, he should be able to turn things around. He will open the batting and have the best of batting conditions on which to make a mark.

Moeen Ali - Moeen Ali will be used as an attacking spin-bowling option and as an impact batter to take on the bowling. He has prior experience of playing in Pakistani conditions and could be a great option to have in your fantasy teams.

Haris Rauf - One of the best death bowlers in the world. Rauf becomes a must-have pick if Pakistan is bowling first but his express pace and aggression make him a good option even if Pakistan bats first.

Captain and vice-captain - We are going to stick with the all-rounders for this match. Moeen Ali as captain and Shadab Khan as the vice-captain is the way to go for us. Both players are likely to contribute in all aspects of the game making them invaluable!
