IND vs RSA Match Preview

India have done an exceedingly good job recently in the bilaterals, but they have been equally bad in the ICC events. This would be at the back of their minds when they play this match before flying to Australia to play ICC World T20 2022. There have been ups and downs with respect to the personnel they have available and they would still be searching for plenty of answers when they take the field in this upcoming contest.

India are pretty much going to play with their second-string side in this upcoming match, especially with the bat. The likes of KL Rahul and Virat Kohli will be rested to test out a few more combinations. This comes with India already missing the services of Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and Ravindra Jadej

While India have been pretty good with the bat, bowling has pretty much suffered in all the recent matches they have played. Death bowling is certainly a big issue and with Jasprit Bumrah missing, India will have to find someone to lead the death-bowling department. None of what they have tried in recent times has worked for them and it is going to be difficult for them yet again. If they can sort that out here in this match and going forward, they will be a very tough side to deal with.

South Africa are still going through a rebuilding phase but they have done an immaculate job in the recent matches they have played. Almost all of their players have looked in prime from and barring a few bouts of inconsistency, they have just been terrific. This series though, they have played far from their best and will want to get that right.

South Africa too have a few problems to sort out. Although they have a good side on paper, they have not been as consistent. Quinton de Kock may have scored a fifty in the last match, he was nowhere as good as he can be. Also, Temba Bavuma at the top has been a little too slow more often than not. Their bowling though inspires confidence and barring that one last match, it has done good.

South Africa would want to get their combination sorted before heading to Australia and this upcoming match will be important in governing that. If their batters are able to do the necessary job, this Proteas unit will be a handful to deal with.

Dream11 Prediction

This may be a dead-rubber but not for the people of Indore and not for the two teams. Each match is important when such a big tournament is looming and it is going to be no different this time. While a full-strength India would have been way ahead on-paper, India resting their players has evened things out. South Africa will likely be coming out with their full-strength team. Considering that and the fact that they did a decent job in the last match makes them a solid candidate for this one. We have some pretty good players on both sides and building team would not be easy with big players absence.
