Zimbabwe would have been thrilled with its victory in the first match. It did not come about by luck or chance and was absolutely deserved. It was clear to see that Zimbabwe entered this match believing it could win and that it was up for the fight.
The batters may not have been able to get too many runs but the top order played with intent. Bennett, Madhevere, and Raza all got some boundaries away before they got out. They came in to bat with the aim to put the Indian bowlers under pressure and were able to do that to some extent.
The battle against Bishnoi was one that the Zimbabwe batters struggled in. They will look to improve on that and play him more like an off-spinner instead.
It is clear that Sikandar Raza holds the key to the performance of the Zimbabwe team. He is their best batter, their best bowler, and also an excellent leader. Blessing Muzarabani and Tendai Chatara both impressed with their bowling also.
Now, the big question is whether Zimbabwe is capable of repeating the victory again? While we believe it is absolutely capable and understands the conditions better than the Indian players, it will have a much tougher fight on its hand this time around.
Zimbabwe's bowling is tight and will definitely keep them in the fight but its batting will have to do something special to be able to pull off a victory. The odds on a Zimbabwe victory are so high right now that you can place a bet on them pre-match and then hedge (essentially ensuring you will come out ahead) during the match.

India's next generation of cricketers had a tough welcome to international cricket as they struggled in conditions that were not the easiest to bat on. Almost all of the batters found the lack of pace challenging to work with and ended up spooning the ball in the air.
Abhishek Sharma, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Riyan Parag, and Rinku Singh all got out trying to force the ball but were beaten by the lack of pace. Is this something that they can adjust to? We absolutely believe that they can. They need to just give themselves a bit more time and look to hit straighter.
Shubman Gill did that before getting out and looked the part. His struggle against the ball that come in is something that teams around the world will be aware of.
This Indian lineup is used to smashing the ball on flat batting surfaces in the IPL but that may not work in this series. They need to give themselves a bit more time and then take the attack to the bowlers.
India's bowling was not the best either. Avesh Khan and Khaleel Ahmed were expensive (considering the overall scoring rates) while Mukesh Kumar looked unfit and seriously short of pace. The spinners, Ravi Bishnoi and Washington Sundar, were very good with their lines.
Bishnoi picked up four wickets and is an excellent option for the Top Bowler betting market once more.
India cannot take this series or this match lightly. A loss here will force them into three must-win matches and so winning this match is very important. We expect the Indian team to adapt and come out with better plans.
