The hosts dominated most of the gameplay, right from the word go. It was a disciplined effort from the bowlers as they didn’t let the strong Bangladesh batting line-up get going. The spinners, Steven Taylor and Harmeet Singh were particularly impressive during the middle overs and will yet again play an important role in this match.
The pace attack consists of Saurabh Netravalkar, Ali Khan, and Jessy Singh. Monank Patel and Steven Taylor have done a decent job as an opening pair and the team will want them to get yet another good start.

It was a mediocre batting effort from the visitors on Tuesday. The top and the middle order failed to gain any sort of momentum against a bowling unit that isn’t the strongest one around. Barring Towhid Hridoy, who scored a well-made half-century, and Mahmudullah, none of the batters looked comfortable.
The bowlers will need to work on their line and length as well. While Mustafizur picked up 2 wickets, he was very expensive, going at over 10 runs per over. It was a similar story to Rishad Hossain and Shoriful Islam.
While Bangladesh has some quality players, they will have to put up better in-field performances.
