Fresh off its 4-0 success against a visiting Canadian team, USA will look to continue with the winning momentum as it heads to the marquee event.
Monank Patel led his team from the front in that series and was the top run-getter for the hosts in that series. He will once again be the key batsman for the USA. He, alongside Steven Taylor, makes up for a strong opening pair.
Andries Gous and Aaron Jones have chipped in with a couple of valuable knocks in the middle order but a lot will depend on Corey Anderson.
The former New Zealand international has plenty of experience playing on the big stage, especially in the shortest format.
Shadley van Schalkwyk and Saurabh Netravalkar make up for a potent attack with the new ball while Noshtush Kenjige and Harmeet Singh can prove to be quite effective on a slow pitch.

The visitors have named a well-balanced squad for this tour under the leadership of Najmul Hossain Shanto. There is plenty of firepower in the top order thanks to the presence of Litton Das, Towhid Hridoy, and Tanzid Hasan. But perhaps Bangladesh’s biggest strength comes from the quality of the all-rounders they possess.
Shakib Al-Hasan, Mahedi Hasan, and Mahmudullah are all capable of changing the course of the game with both, the bat and the ball. With Taskin Ahmed nursing an injury, we expect Hasan Mahmud to share the new ball with Mustafizur Rahman, with Shoriful Islam being the 3rd pacer.
