Surrey have already collected victories over Hamsphire, Glamorgan and Somerset this T20 Blast and are in a good position to gather a fourth consecutive win here. But they will be hard pressed against a Sussex outfit determined to progress after an indifferent start.
Surrey have really relished the form of batter Jamie Smith lately. He has raced to 193 runs in this tournament after knocks of 30, 76 and 87. At just 23 years old, he is a serious talent and key to his team's ambition with the bat going forward. Laurie Evans is another Surrey batter to keep an eye on.
Bowling-wise, Sean Abbott, Spencer Johnson and Tom Curran have been Surrey's most prolific wicket-takers in the 2024 T20 Blast. Curran has six wickets to Abbott and Johnson's five each. All three have international experience and it is showing in their successful approach to this domestic competition.
