Barring a couple of seasons, the Salem Spartans haven’t had a good time in the league. In the previous season as well, they finished 7th on the points table.
Sunny Sandhu put up a brilliant all-round performance in the last as he was not only the leading run-getter for the team but was also their top wicket-taker. He has once again been retained in the squad. He will be joined by Mohammed Adnan Khan and R Kavin. S Harish Kumar, who had played a vital role for the Super Gillies in the past, makes his way to the Spartans squad.
However, the team is likely to miss out on the services of S Aravind and Kaushik Gandhi.

The Madurai Panthers has managed to retain the core of its team from 2023. S Lokeshwar and Swapnil Singh were the top two run-getters last time and will once again play an important role. V Aaditya and Jagatheesan Kousik are solid performers in the middle order, while Madurai has a solid all-rounder in the form of Washington Sundar, who not only adds depth to the batting but is also a handy spinner.
