The Aussies also bowled eight overs of spin in the first match, but used three slow bowlers to New Zealand's two. Glenn Maxwell's ability to not only be a solid batter, but put in some overs, makes him one of the best all-rounders in modern-day T20I cricket.
Mitchell Marsh will be full of confidence after the captain inspired his team to victory with a match-winning 72. Tim David then weighed in with his superb finishing skills. Travis Head, David Warner and others also put in valuable contributions - and could be required to do so again.
