New Zealand made a winning start to its campaign and will now look to continue with the momentum.
It was a brilliant batting performance by the Black Caps on Sunday. Tom Jones and Luke Watson gave the team a steady start, but it was Snehith Reddy and skipper Oscar Jackson who got things going. The duo scored 157 runs for the 4th wicket to set the base for a match-winning total.
Reddy went on to score 147 from just 125 deliveries. New Zealand has plenty of depth in its batting thanks to the presence of Lachlan Stackpole, Alex Thompson, and all-rounders like Zak Cumming, and Oliver Tewatiya.
Coming to the bowling, while New Zealand did bowl well, they will be a bit disappointed as they could not bowl out the Nepal team inside the stipulated 50 overs.
