IRE vs OMA Team Previews
Ireland
Ireland made a good start in the Super League, defeating much stronger teams like South Africa and England. They also achieved a famous 2-1 series win over West Indies while touring the country and seemed on track to give stiff competition to some of the other full-time members. However, the campaign soon lost its steam as Ireland suffered series losses against the Netherlands and Afghanistan, and managed to finish 11th on the points table.
Andrew Balbirnie will lead the team in this tournament and will play an important role with the bat in the middle order. All-rounders Andy McBrine and Paul Stirling are likely to open the batting here. Stirling has been in particularly good form of late and the team will be banking on him to provide a strong start here.
McBrine showcased his batting abilities in the recent one-off Test match against England, played at the Lord’s, where he put up a brilliant 163-run partnership with Mark Adair. The latter too was in good form and will look to strengthen the batting line-up.
The other batsmen on the team include Harry Tector, Curtis Campher, Lorcan Tucker, and Peter Moor. But perhaps Ireland’s biggest strength lies in its pace attack. This includes the likes of Josh Little, Craig Young, Barry McCarthy, and Graham Hume.
The spin attack will be led by George Dockrell, who will be supported by Ben White.

Oman
Oman had an excellent start to its League 2 campaign that saw them occupy the top spot on the points table for a long time. However, they did see a dip in their form towards the end of the cycle. But they had done enough by then to finish in the second place and move into the Qualifiers.
Oman will be banking on its swashbuckling opener Jatinder Singh to give them a good start here. He is likely to be joined by Kashyap Prajapati at the top of the order. The middle order will be made up of skipper Zeeshan Maqsood, Aqib Ilyas, Naseem Khushi, and Shoaib Khan. Zeeshan Maqsood was especially impressive during the League 2 fixtures, where he put up consistent performances with the bat as well as the ball.
Bilal Khan, who was the leading wicket-taker in League 2, will lead the pace attack here and will be looking to get good support at the other end from Mohammad Nadeem, Kaleemullah, and Fayyaz Butt. The team does seem a bit lacking in the spin department as Samay Shrivastava is the only full-time spinner on the squad.
One of the biggest weaknesses of Oman might be the fielding, as except for Kashyap Prajapati, all its squad members are over the age of 30.

IRE vs OMA Betting Tips
While Oman did perform well early on in League 2, their form seems to have tapered down a bit towards the end. Also, the team hasn’t had much international exposure during the last few months, which could be a bit of a disadvantage for them.

Bonus Cricket Bets
Andrew Balbirnie is one of the most experienced batsmen in the Ireland side and averages 32.65 in ODIs. He has put up scores of 53 and 42 in his last 2 ODIs and we are backing him to play another good inning here.
Bilal Khan was the leading wicket-taker in the League 2 stage, with 76 wickets in just 35 matches. He has taken 22 wickets in the last 9 matches, including 3 4-wicket hauls, which speaks volumes about his form. We are therefore backing him to bowl another good spell here.
Jatinder Singh is known for his hard-hitting abilities and the batting-friendly pitch at Bulawayo gives him a good opportunity to showcase his talent. He has made 21 or more runs in 4 of his last 6 One Day games.
