India

India has a strong and dependable top order that will look to be aggressive from the outset. Rohit Sharma can be devastating on his day, while Virat Kohli was in red-hot form during the recently concluded IPL. Given his form, it might be a good idea to push him into the opening slot.

Ireland will depend on its experienced trio of skipper Paul Stirling, Andrew Balbirnie, and George Dockrell to deliver the goods. Harry Tector and Lorcan Tucker are the two youngsters who can play the big shots, while Curtis Campher and George Delaney add versatility and depth to the batting.
Mark Adair and Joshua Little are two of the most experienced seamers on the team, while Ben White may play as the specialist spinner.
There is no doubt that Ireland has improved immensely as a T20 team in the last 12 months or so. They have started to play a lot more aggressively and will come into this match with nothing to lose. It was in the Caribbean where they beat Pakistan in 2007 and it would be foolish to count them out completely against India in this match either.

Pitch and Conditions
Since the Nassau County Stadium is a new venue, not much is known as to how it will behave. However, according to reports, the drop-in pitch has been formed on the lines of Adelaide Oval. The surface in the previous match played here was very difficult for the batters with inconsistent bounce.
The spinners might find some grip and turn but we really hope that the pitch is better for batting this time around.
