The Durban Super Giants scored a big win against the Royals on Friday and climbed to the top of the table. The team will now look to replicate that success and extend its lead.
The team will once again bank on its strong batting unit to take them to a match-winning score. Tony de Zorzi and Matthew Breetzke will open the batting for the Super Giants. Breetzke has been pretty consistent so far and will look to play another good inning in this match. Similarly, Heinrich Klaasen and JJ Smuts have been very strong performers in the middle order.
Quinton de Kock, who has had a relatively quiet season, came back strongly in the reverse fixture to score an unbeaten 83 from just 51 deliveries. The seam attack has been another highlight of the team’s performance. Reece Topley is the leading wicket-taker with 10 wickets and has received good support from Marcus Stoinis, who has picked up 9.
