The Dragons have retained most of their top players from the last season, including their marquee all-rounder, Ravichandran Ashwin. Though he played just 4 games last season, he brings in invaluable experience. Shivam Singh, who was the leading run-getter for the team in 2023, will likely open the batting alongside Vimal Khumar.

The middle order consists of Boopathi Kumar, Baba Indrajith, and Adithya Ganesh. Coming to the bowling, Dindigul will miss out on the services of Saravana Kumar in the pace department as he has been picked up by Trichy. The team has picked up Sandeep Warrier as his replacement, who will join Subodh Bhati.

The biggest headline undoubtedly is the inclusion of R Sanjay Yadav, who played for the Chepauk Super Gillies in 2023. Yadav is an all-rounder who has scored 546 runs in his T20 career and has also picked up 21 wickets.

He was picked up for a record sum of 22 lacs. Another big name to enter the squad is P Saravana Kumar, who was among the best seamers for Dindigul last season.

While the team has plenty of options when it comes to batting, Trichy seems a bit lacking in the spin department as Kannan Vignesh is the only specialist spinner.
