The Bangladesh Women scripted history during the first match of the series, winning an ODI for the first time against India. However, the jubilation was short-lived as they were beaten quite convincingly in the second match.
Openers Murshida Khatun and Sharmin Akhter haven’t been in the best of forms so far and will be looking to bounce back by giving the team a strong start here. Fargana Hoque will play a pivotal role. She is the top-scorer for the hosts in this ODI tournament and will look to be the anchor of the batting unit.
Nigar Sultana and Ritu Moni have got good starts but have failed to convert them into big inning. Coming to the bowling, Marufa Akter has done a brilliant job, picking up 5 wickets in 2 matches. However, she is the only quality seamer on the squad.
Rabeya Khan will lead the spin attack alongside Nahida Akter and Sultana Khatun. While Bangladesh does have some quality players, they will need to perform well as a unit if they want to beat India.

The Indian women’s team was stung by the hosts in the first ODI but they were quick to bounce back in the next game. A brilliant all-round effort by Jemimah Rodrigues ensured that the visitors were able to level the series and they now have a chance to win it.
The opening pair of Smriti Mandhana and Priya Punia haven’t been at their fluent best and will hope to get back to form and give the team a good start. Mandhana did get a good start in the last match but was unable to capitalise on that. It is a similar story with Yastika Bhatia, who too has struggled to get going.
Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrio will once again be the key batters for India in the middle order. Both of them scored individual half-centuries in the last match and helped India set a match-winning target. All-rounders Harleen Deol and Deepti Sharma add depth to the bowling.
As mentioned earlier, Rodrigues contributed with the ball too, picking up 4 wickets for just 3 runs. However, the full-time bowlers including Meghna Singh and Amanjot Kaur will need to bowl a disciplined line and length. Sneh Rana, Devika Vaidya, and Deepti Sharma will feature in the spin department alongside Rodrigues.
