In the early days of Rashid Khan's career, Afghanistan still found its feet in the international cricket scene. But despite the lack of experience, Rashid was determined to make his mark.
His debut in the national squad in 2015, first in an ODI match against Zimbabwe and then in a T20I match against the same team where Rashid showcased his talent.
He was primarily a bowler and quickly made a name for himself by taking five wickets in just two overs in a T20I match against Ireland in March 2017, setting a new record.
He followed this up with six wickets in an ODI match, proving a worthy cricketer in International cricket.
