Mahendra Singh Dhoni, born on July 7, 1981, is an Indian professional cricketer, right-handed batter, and wicketkeeper. He is seen as the most successful Indian captain in most international matches. 

Dhoni is the only leader who has led India to win in all three major limited-overs tournaments: the 2011 Cricket World Cup, the 2007 ICC World Twenty20, and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.

He was also captain of the team that won the Asia Cup in 2010 and 2016 and was part of the victorious team in 2018.

MS Dhoni Cricket Career

Dhoni is widely regarded as one of the best cricket players ever. He has won acclaim for his unique playing style, winning spirit, and tactical genius. In 1999, this cricketer made his debut for the Bihar team. 

On December 23, 2004, he played his first ODI for India against Bangladesh and made his maiden test match a year later against Sri Lanka. MS Dhoni became the ODI captain for Team India in 2007 and the captain for all formats by 2008.

MS Dhoni IPL Career

During the 2008 Indian Premier League campaign, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) signed Dhoni's contract for an astounding USD 1.5 million (INR 1.2* crores), making him the year's costliest player.

MS Dhoni Personal Life

Ms Sakshi Singh Rawat and Mr Dhoni married in Dehradun on July 4, 2010. They have a daughter, born on February 6, 2015, and live at their farmhouse adjacent to Ranchi City. 

He is fond of cars and bikes, and his expensive automobile collection includes the following: a Kawasaki Ninja H2 at INR 79.90 lakhs, a Confederate Hellcat X132 at INR 47 lakhs, and a Suzuki Hayabusa costing 16.90 Lakhs, among others.
