Islamabad United
Total runs in the match over 329.5 runs
This shouldn’t be impossible to achieve. The Pakistani pitches should provide batters with the ammo to get a move on and play their shots. Islamabad United’s match against Multan Sultans featured one run short of 340 runs in total.
First boundary will be four runs
This should be the safe option for a bettor’s pocket. Both opening overs in Islamabad’s previous match featured boundary fours, with three of them across the two overs. The first ball of the match itself was also four runs.
It will be difficult to bet against a side that has just beaten five teams on the trot, both home and away. Lahore Qalandars will be no walkovers though, having earned some wins of their own this season. They are looking to claim a massive scalp at home.

Gaddafi Stadium is typically a batter’s dream, but has proven to have a bit in it for the bowlers this season too. During PSL 2024, the average first innings score at the venue was approximately 172. The highest team total recorded here is 245 for three by Multan Sultans against Quetta Gladiators in 2022. There is a five percent chance of rain on matchday. That should be harmless though. The heat of almost mid-30 degrees Celsius heat will be the biggest issue to contend with. The humidity is on the side of the lower percentages.
Lahore Qalandars would’ve suffered quite the mental dent after a significant loss to their opponents in the tournament’s opener. They have managed a few wins since then and will be hoping to take those fond memories into this match-up. Islamabad United have been close to faultless as it is. They will be heavy favourites.
