The Mumbai Indians haven’t had the best of starts this year. The team has lost both of its matches so far and is currently placed 9th on the points table. While these are the early days of the tournament, the team hopes to get back to winning ways soon.

The opening pair of Ryan Rickleton and Rohit Sharma has struggled in both games and has failed to give the team a strong start. Their poor run has had a cascading effect on the middle and lower middle order and MI has failed to put up match-winning scores.

The team is home to some experienced batsmen like Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma, both of whom have had good starts but have failed to convert them into match-winning knocks. The youngsters, Naman Dhir and Robin Minz have struggled as well.

Sunil Narine, who missed the match against RR due to a niggle, is likely to be fit for this match and will join Quinton de Kock. The latter was in blistering form on Wednesday as he scored an unbeaten 97 runs to guide his team to a thumping victory.

The middle order consists of skipper Ajinkya Rahane, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, and Venkatesh Iyer, while Andre Russell, Rinku Singh, and Ramandeep Singh will play the role of finisher.
