First Boundary: To Be A Four
This is an incredible value bet because of how often it pays out. Batters are aggressive but fours are just much easier to come by than sixes. We love the odds on offer for this one.
Total Maiden : Under 0.5
This is a low risk - low reward bet that can give you a nice 10% return on your stake.
Kolkata Knight Riders and the Lucknow Super Giants have both played four matches and won two matches each in IPL 2025. They are separated by a Net Run Rate (not by much) and have also won their most recent matches. This match promises to be an absolute humdinger.

There have been five matches played between KKR and LSG so far. Three of those have been won by LSG while two of them have been won by KKR. Both of the wins for KKR came in the most recent of those encounters so they have some recent success against LSG to build upon.
This match will be available to view on the JioHotstar streaming platform or on the Star Sports network of channels.
Kolkata Knight Riders won a tricky encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their previous outing. That match showcased just how important having an in-form Venkataesh Iyer is for KKR. He scored a blistering half-century and helped KKR reach a winning total. Rinku Singh also got some runs and showed just how crucial he can be in the lower order.
Ajinkya Rahane and Angrish Raghuvanshi were in the runs and that will help raise the confidence of the KKR batters as well. Quinton de Kock opens the batting for KKR and he is far too good to miss out for too long. The real problem for KKR seems to be the lack of runs from Sunil Narine at the top and Andre Russell in the middle.
Having two of their overseas players underperform is such a big setback that KKR may have to look for alternatives if the pair does not get its act in order. All things considered, KKR's batting is not the strongest and depends very heavily on Quinton de Kock and Venkatesh Iyer to play the major role with supporting minor contributions.
The bowling is where KKR pull ahead. It has Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine, perhaps the strongest spin-duo at its disposal. Vaibhav Arora has done well with the new ball ,and Harshit Rana is also effective with the short ball ploy.
LSG's batting is not the strongest either but we think Nicholas Pooran could be tough to stop for the KKR bowling unit.
Quinton de Kock (wk), Sunil Narine, Ajinkya Rahane (c), Venkatesh Iyer, Rinku Singh, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Moeen Ali, Ramandeep Singh , Andre Russell, Harshit Rana, Varun Chakaravarthy
LSG won its previous match against the Mumbai Indians in a tightly contested game. Mitch Marsh scored his third half-century of the season and was instrumental in leading them to a win. LSG also has a spectaularly in form Nicholas Pooran who seems to be unstoppable at the moment.
The fact that Aiden Markram has got runs under his belt also bodes very well for LSG. We know that LSG's batting lineup does not have the depth that some of the other teams do. Especially because Rishab Pant seems unable to get a run to his name right now but that can change quickly.
Ayush Badoni, David Miller, and Abdul Samad can smash the ball a fair distance on their day as well.
The batting is not a very big concern for LSG at the moment. They are grappling with the absence of a number of their first choice bowlers and have to contend with a decidedly second string attack. Shardul Thakur has done well but we all know just how expensive he can be.
Akash Deep is not really a T20 specialist and Avesh Khan is not the most dependable. Even Ravi Bishnoi has been struggling to make an impact so far. That leaves the uncapped Digvesh Singh Rathi as the leader of the attack. He has been very difficult to hit and is full of confidence.
If LSG can bowl with even a little bit of control, they should be able to get the better of KKR.
Aiden Markram, Mitchell Marsh, Nicholas Pooran, Rishabh Pant (c & wk), Ayush Badoni, David Miller, Abdul Samad, Shardul Thakur, Digvesh Singh Rathi, Akash Deep, Avesh Khan
There have been two matches played at the Eden Gardens in IPL 2025. The first one was won convincingly by the team chasing while the second one was won by the team batting first. Looking at the way the pitch slowed up in the previous match, we think batting first may be the preferred option for both teams.
The Eden Gardens has provided a balanced cricket surface so far. We think teams should aim for something close to 180 as par and be prepared for the surface to slow down in the second inning. Chasing might prove to be difficult for both teams.
There is a bit of rain around in the air but but noting that should affect the match too much.

The Kolkata Knight Riders are playing at home and are clear favorites at all bookmakers so far. We, however, do not agree. LSG has a stronger batting lineup that has some of the best T20 players in the world. The pitch at the Eden Gardens is such that LSG's bowling weaknesses may not be exposed. LSG could pull off an upset here and we are happy to bet on them.
KKR vs LSG win percentage stands at 56% in favor of KKR.
