The Delhi Capitals started off well but they have seen a dip in their form over the last few days as the team has lost 3 of its last 5 matches. As a result, they have slipped down to the 4^th place on the points table.

Faf du Plessis joined Abishek Porel at the top of the batting line-up in the previous match and looked in decent form. He got a good start but wasn’t able to continue. Porel has been pretty consistent and the team will expect him to score quickly during the Powerplay.

KL Rahul has been brilliant in the middle order and is the leading run-scorer for his team. However, the form of other middle-order batsmen including Ashutosh Sharma, Karun Nair, and Axar Patel has seen a dip and that has reflected in the team’s fortunes.

The pace duo of Mitchell Starc and Mukesh Kumar has bowled well in patches and has picked up 20 wickets between them.
