KL Rahul to score Over 26.5 runs
Rahul is the leading run-scorer for DC this year and has an average of over 60 runs in his 8 innings. He has scored at least 27 runs in 6 of his last 7 innings, including 3 half-centuries. He has scored 2 half-centuries in his last 5 matches against KKR and seeing his good form, we are backing Rahul to play a good knock.
Highest individual score Under 74.5
The pitch in Delhi could get difficult for the batsmen to score runs. The batsmen need to work hard to earn their runs and making a big score will be difficult. Only one of the last 4 IPL games played here has seen an individual score of more than 75 runs and we are unlikely to see one in this match.
DC has just lost a bit of momentum after a strong start and is now down to fourth in the IPL standings. KKR is outside of the playoff spots and will see this match as a great opportunity to continue its fight. The pitch at the Arun Jaitley Stadium could also bring the KKR spinners into play.

The two teams have faced each other in 33 matches to date. The Kolkata Knight Riders won 18 matches while the Delhi Capitals won 15.
This match can be watched live on the JioHotstar App and Star Sports Network.
The Delhi Capitals started off well but they have seen a dip in their form over the last few days as the team has lost 3 of its last 5 matches. As a result, they have slipped down to the 4th place on the points table.
Faf du Plessis joined Abishek Porel at the top of the batting line-up in the previous match and looked in decent form. He got a good start but wasn’t able to continue. Porel has been pretty consistent and the team will expect him to score quickly during the Powerplay.
KL Rahul has been brilliant in the middle order and is the leading run-scorer for his team. However, the form of other middle-order batsmen including Ashutosh Sharma, Karun Nair, and Axar Patel has seen a dip and that has reflected in the team’s fortunes.
The pace duo of Mitchell Starc and Mukesh Kumar has bowled well in patches and has picked up 20 wickets between them. Kuldeep Yadav is the team’s leading wicket-taker with 12 wickets and will lead the spin department. However, Axar Patel has struggled with the ball and has managed to pick  up only 3 wickets so far.
Delhi Capitals Expected Playing 11
Faf du Plessis, Abishek Porel, Karun Nair, KL Rahul(WK), Axar Patel (C), Tristan Stubbs, Vipraj Nigam, Mitchell Starc, Dushmantha Chameera, Kuldeep Yadav, Mukesh Kumar
The Kolkata Knight Riders have been rather inconsistent this year and have managed to win only 3 of the 9 matches they played. Their latest match against the Punjab Kings was washed out, allowing them to share points. They are placed 7th on the points table, trailing the top four by 5 points.
KKR’s batting, which was one of its biggest strengths last year, has struggled so far this season. The opening pair has struggled to give the team a good start and that has had a cascading effect on the batsmen coming in lower down.
The team has brought in Rahmanullah Gurbaz to join Sunil Narine at the top of the order. Ajinkya Rahane is the team’s most consistent batsman with 271 runs. Angkrish Raghuvanshi has played a couple of good knocks as well. However, the team will expect a better performance from Vijay Shankar, Andre Russell, and Ramandeep Singh.
The bowlers have fared better in comparison. Vaibhav Arora and Harshit Rana have done well with the new ball, picking up 11 wickets each. Varun Chakravarthy has bowled well of late and has picked up 11 wickets as well. He has been pretty economical as well.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz (WK), Sunil Narine, Ajinkya Rahane (C), Vijay Shankar, Rinku Singh, Andre Russell, Ramandeep Singh, Varun Chakravarthy, Chetan Sakariya, Harshit Rana, Vaibhav Arora
In 9 out of the last 10 matches, the captain winning the toss has opted to field first. In the last 9 matches, 8 were won while batting first while 1 was a tie. We, therefore, think that batting first might be a better option here.
The pitch at the Arun Jaitley Stadium is likely to be on the dry side. There isn’t much grass on the surface and the bowlers will get help throughout the game. The surface is likely to slow down as the game progresses and the spinners will get assistance during the second innings. A score of around 170-180 is a par score. The weather will remain warm with temperatures around 30 degrees. We might see some dew on the ground during the second innings.
We are backing the Delhi Capitals to win this match. While their form has seen a slight dip, they remain a quality side that has a strong batting line-up and a well-balanced bowling attack. On the other hand, KKR has struggled in all departments and might find it difficult to bounce back on a tricky surface.
DC vs KKR win percentage stands at 51% in favor of DC.
