Kohler-Cadmore is the leading run-scorer for the Sharjah Warriorz this year and has an average of 40.75. he has scored at least 21 runs in 3 of his last 5 matches and we reckon he will play well yet again.
The bowlers need to work hard to pick up wickets here. Only 3 of the last 7 matches played here have seen 14 or more wickets fall. We, therefore, feel that we are unlikely to see many wickets fall.
The Sharjah Warriorz will be fighting to stay alive as they gave the Dubai Capitals for match number 23 in the ongoing ILT20 tournament. The two teams will clash on Tuesday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
The two teams have faced each other in 3 matches and the Warriorz have won all of them.
This match can be watched live on the FanCode App and Zee5 App.
After a shaky start to their campaign, the Dubai Capitals have bounced back smartly as they have won 3 games on the trot. They are currently 2nd on the table and a win here will greatly improve its chances of making it to the playoffs.
Shai Hope has been in excellent form for the Capitals and has 3 scores of 50+ runs in his 7 innings, including a century. He will look to give the team a strong start along with Adam Rossington.
However, the middle-order batting, which includes Sikandar Raza, Rovman Powell, Khalid Shah, and Dasun Shanaka, has been average.
Gulbadin Naib on the other hand has been brilliant with the bat and the ball, scoring 210 runs and also picking up 8 wickets. He will be joined by Dushmantha Chameera and Obed McCoy in the pace department.
The spinners need to bowl better than though.
With just two wins in 7 games, the Sharjah Warriorz are struggling at the moment. The team is currently placed at the bottom of the table and has the worst NRR among all teams.
The batsmen have done a decent job for the team. Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Johnson Charles gave the team a strong start in the previous match and will hope to do the same here. Kohler-Cadmore is the leading run-scorer for the Warriorz this year.
Jason Roy is another solid performer in the middle order and has the support of Tom Seifert and Avishka Fernando. However, the team will expect better from Rohan Mustafa and Ethan Dsouza.
The bowling has been a big disappointment and is one of the main reasons for the Warriorz’s poor run. Tim Southee and Adam Milne have picked up only 6 wickets each, and it has been expensive as well.
The spinners have bowled inconsistently as well, with Adam Zampa picking up only 1 wicket.
The team winning the toss will likely opt to bowl first.
The pitch in Dubai has been a bit slow for the last couple of games. The ball stops a bit after pitching and the batsmen will need to time their shots carefully. The spinners will also get some held here due to the cracks opening up. A score of around 165-170 is a par score.
The weather will be clear with temperatures of around 20 degrees.
We are backing the Dubai Capitals to win this match. They have played well over the last week and seem to have settled on the right combination of players. On the other hand, the Sharjah Warriorz have struggled on all fronts and will find it difficult to bounce back.
Bet on the Dubai Capitals to win.
