The Delhi Capitals had an excellent start to their campaign and just at the time when it seemed that they were cruising towards the playoffs, their form saw a severe dip and they have now slipped out of the top four. While not all is lost and they still have a good chance of making it to the next stage, the Capitals have no time to lose and must get back to winning ways.
The Sunrisers on the other hand will be very disappointed with the way they have performed. Despite retaining most of the core players from the previous season, they haven’t been able to perform in a similar fashion. They are now just one defeat away from elimination.

There are no injuries to report from either side
The Rajiv Gandhi Stadium has traditionally produced batsmen-friendly pitches and we are expecting another such surface for this match. The average first-inning score here this season is over 200 and with both sides having some quality players, another high-scoring match cannot be ruled out. The bowlers have very little margin for error and any loose deliveries will be severely punished.
There is no forecast for rain in Hyderabad but we can expect some clouds. However, the weather is likely to be humid and we can expect some dew during the latter half, making it difficult for the bowlers to grip the ball.
Both teams have some strong wicket-keeper batsmen options to choose from. We are going with KL Rahul and Heinrich Klaasen. Both of them are among the leading run-scorers for their respective teams and since we have a good batting surface, they could play a good knock.
Travis Head, Faf du Plessis, and Tristan Stubbs are our top choices in this category. All of them have the ability to play the big shots and score important runs.
The all-rounders are an important part of any side and thankfully, we have some good all-rounders on both sides. Abhishek Sharma, Axar Patel, and Vipraj Nigam have done a good job with the bat as well as the ball.
The bowlers are likely to have a tough time in this match. Nevertheless, the ones who bowl a disciplined line and length can pick wickets. Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, and Kuldeep Yadav make it on our team.
We are opting for Axar Patel as the captain of our team. He has done a good job with the bat lower down the order and while his bowling hasn’t been the best, we expect him to bounce back here. Also, he has collected the most fantasy points among all players featured in this match.
Abhishek Sharma is the leading run-scorer for SRH this year and is coming into this match on the back of a brilliant half-century. He can play the big shots with ease and can also spin the ball quite a bit.
Since we are expecting a batsmen-friendly surface for this match, we have picked up a team that has plenty of batsmen who have the ability to strike the ball. We have also tried to include some good all-rounders who can earn points throughout the match. Picking up the bowlers could be a bit tricky and we have tried to strike a balance between the spinners and seamers.
Abhishek Sharma has 577 points from the last 5 matches at an average of 115 points per match.
KL Rahul (371), Abhishek Sharma (314), Heinrich Klaasen (311)
Mitchell Starc (14), Harshal Patel (13), Kuldeep Yadav (12)
Abhishek Sharma (17), KL Rahul (16), Aniket Verma (16)
Vipraj Nigam (203.92), Abhishek Sharma (180.45), Karun Nair (177.01)
Kuldeep Yadav (6.74), Axar Patel (8.16), Jaydev Unadkat (8.19)
