Mumbai Indians have won twice in their last five matches. They would have been rocked by some early losses, but have the tools to move up the table.
Sunrisers have been part of a significant dip in form in their recent matches. They did well to gather two points at home in their previous game. It will be slightly trickier for them now by needing to travel to Mumbai.
Both teams have sunk towards the bottom of the table. This match will be a much-needed opportunity to start moving up again.

Although not fully ruled out, Rohit Sharma may be the only fitness concern for Mumbai Indians.
The pitch is likely to behave in the same way that a typical Wankhede pitch behaves. This should be a belting pitch for the batters to score in bulk. The warm and dry conditions will add to the flatness of the pitch. The humidity and dew may play a part in the latter half of the game.
Heinrich Klaasen has been consistent this season in terms of scoring runs in the 20s and 30s, but failing to compile an innings of greater substance. He has been striking at 166.34 until now. Fellow South African Ryan Rickelton is also worth thinking about. In the IPL, the left-hander has 149 runs and a half-century this year.
Suryakumar Yadav should definitely have a spot available to him. He has had many comparisons to legends like AB de Villiers because of his extraordinary ability to get the ball into unorthodox pockets of space on the field. His batting genius doesn’t stop there because he has scored 408 runs in his last ten IPL matches. Tilak Varma is an explosive player who can change the game in the middle overs. He has been busy with 283 runs in his last nine IPL matches.
Abhishek Sharma should be set in stone to be in your Dream11 lineup after almost 150 runs in his previous IPL innings. Captain and all-rounder of Mumbai Indians Hardik Pandya is a three-dimensional player who doesn’t often go a game without making an impact. He has 2608 IPL runs and 74 IPL wickets.
Leg-spinner Karn Sharma is in form after a bucket load of wickets when he played against DC. Harshal Patel of SRH has taken ten wickets in his past six IPL matches. World-class pacers such as Jasprit Bumrah and Pat Cummins will do battle against each other on the field, but will be a phenomenal combo in your team list.
On home soil with the home crowd behind him, Suryakumar Yadav will be looking to show off some fireworks against Hyderabad. His total IPL career runs are at 3833 with two centuries and 25 half-centuries.
Someone you may also find to be a profitable inclusion in your side is the home captain Hardik Pandya. The all-rounder has ten half-centuries and one five-wicket haul in the IPL. His five-wicket haul came this season against Lucknow Super Giants.
With a potentially flat surface on offer, you may feel it is worth the risk of going batter heavy. Both lineups have strong batting options to choose from.
The swing bowlers are likely to be more effective than those who rely on pure pace. A couple of spinners in the lineup will help you for a varied bowling attack.
Hardik Pandya with 499 Dream11 fantasy points leads the way
Suryakumar Yadav with 239 runs is top of the list
Mumbai captain Hardik Pandya has ten wickets in five games
Aniket Verma leads this stat with 12 sixes in his IPL 2025 season currently
After Abhishek Sharma’s mammoth innings against Punjab Kings, he is striking at 202.11.
Naman Dhir has the best economy with four as his economy, but Will Jacks and Hardik Pandya have both bowled more than him with economies of 8.40 and 8.81 respectively.
