South Africa To Win, 1.22
South Africa is one of the best white-ball teams in the world
Zimbabwe can be tricky at home but it is just not strong enough with either bat or ball to consistently challenge South Africa
Even with some players rested, South Africa has more than enough depth to dominate this contest
Lhuan-dre Pretorius to score over 22.5 runs
Lhuan-dre Pretorius had an excellent international debut in the recent Test series in Zimbabwe where he scored 235 runs in 3 innings. He is coming here on the back of a sensational SA20 tournament where he was the leading run-scorer, scoring 397 runs at an average of over 33 runs per inning. Seeing his good form, we are backing him to play a good knock here.
Highest individual score Under 64.5
The pitch at the Harare Sports Club isn’t the easiest to bat on. None of the last 5 T20 matches played here have seen an individual score of more than 64 and we expect that trend to continue.

After a crushing defeat at the hands of South Africa in the Test series, Zimbabwe will hope to redeem itself in the shortest format. They have traditionally fared better in the T20 format and will look to make a positive start.
Zimbabwe has included most of its senior players for this series. In a significant development, the injured duo of Richard Ngarava and Brian Bennett also make a comeback. Ngarava will join Blessing Muzarabani and Trevor Gwandu in the pace department, while Bennett is a dependable middle-order batsman who can also chip in with the ball.
There are three newcomers in the squad Tafadzwa Tsiga, Newman Nyamhuri, and Vincent Masekesa. However, they are unlikely to get a chance to play, at least in this match. The batting line-up contains plenty of experience in the form of Sikandar Raza, Wessly Madhevere, Clive Madande, and Ryan Burl. Wellington Masakadza is likely to earn a place in the playing XI as a specialist spinner.

After a dominating performance in the Test series, South Africa will look to play with the same intensity in the shortest format as well.
South Africa has made quite a few changes to their squad, resting some of the key players ahead of the tour to Australia and England. These include Aiden Markram, Marco Jansen, Ryan Rickleton, David Miller, and Kagiso Rabada. In Markram’s absence, Rassie van de Dussen will lead the team. He, along with Reeza Hendricks, is the most experienced batsman in the batting line-up and will do the bulk of the heavy lifting in the top order.
South Africa has brought in plenty of youngsters for this series to test their mettle in the international arena ahead of the T20 World Cup scheduled to be played next year. The biggest name among the debutants is that of Lhuan-dre Pretorius. He has been in sensational form in the domestic circuit and was also the leading run-scorer of the recent season of SA20.
The others include Corbin Bosch, Senuran Muthusamy, and Rubin Hermann. Lungi Ngidi will lead the pace department and is likely to be joined by Gerald Coetzee and Nandre Burger. The spin attack consists of Muthusamy, George Linde, and Nqabayomzi Peter.

It is an even split between teams batting first and those batting second. In 6 of the last 10 matches, the team winning the toss opted to field first and we expect that trend to continue.
The pitch at Harare is usually on the dry side. The surface is a bit slow as well, making it difficult to time the shots. The seamers can expect some movement with the new ball, while the spinners come into action once the ball gets a bit soft. The average first-inning score here is around 155 and anything over 180 could get tricky to chase. The weather is expected to remain clear with temperatures under 20 degrees.
We are backing South Africa to win this match. They are a superior team compared to Zimbabwe. Even though some of their regular players are missing, South Africa has enough firepower to overcome any challenge thrown its way.
Bet on South Africa to win this match.
ZIM vs SA win percentage stands at 76% in favor of SA.
