West Indies To Win, 1.14
West Indies has the more explosive batting lineup
With Fabian Allen and Akeal Hosein in the lineup, the West Indies has world-class T20 spin-bowling wicket-takers to choose from
Nepal is a fast improving team but it failed to qualify for the Asia Cup and is still greatly dependent on just one or two players

WI vs NEP Betting Tips
First dismissal of the match to be a catch
This bet shouldn’t be ignored. On a slower UAE wicket, there is every chance that batters initially struggle to adapt to the pace and send a catching chance into the sky. 12 of the 18 wickets in the previous T20I at this venue were all catches.
Total runs in the first over for Nepal to be under 5.5 runs
The Nepalese batters, with their current lack of confidence, are likely to play low-risk cricket at the start of the innings. The team could only put together five runs with the loss of a wicket in its previous first over. That too, being on a better wicket for batting. You should get great value for your selection of this bet.

The West Indies has plenty of T20 pedigree with a plethora of players who have plied their trade in the world’s biggest T20 leagues. Nepal will be up against a modern giant of T20 cricket. Even though the West Indian team, has rested a number of its players, it is still the overwhelming favorite to win.

WI vs NEP Team Previews
West Indies
The West Indies arrive with a squad brimming with excitement. This new-look West Indies team will have a huge chance of showing where things stand with the team’s back-up options for the upcoming Men’s T20 World Cup. At the top, Jewel Andrew’s fearless stroke play and Kyle Mayers’ elegant timing promise brisk starts. Andrew shared a 44-run opening stand in his previous T20I innings.
Amir Jangoo and Ackeem Auguste are new faces ready to make the step up based on their CPL experience. The presence of Jason Holder and Fabian Allen gives the side enviable depth with pace and spin bowling, together with incredible Caribbean power-hitting. Holder took a four-wicket haul and smashed a blistering 30 not out in his previous T20I series, against Pakistan.
The pace-bowling trio of Shamar Springer, Obed McCoy and Jediah Blades will all be competing for a spot on the plane in the T20 World Cup. McCoy’s record for the West Indies in T20Is is incredible. He has over 50 wickets with two four-wicket hauls and one six-wicket haul.
Each will bring energy with the ball. Perhaps the most exciting weapon is captain Akeal Hosein, whose guile can trouble batters and surfaces that turn and those that don’t. Hosein joins McCoy with over 50 T20I wickets.
West Indies Expected Playing 11
Jewel Andrew (wk), Kyle Mayers, Keacy Carty, Amir Jangoo, Ackeem Auguste, Jason Holder, Fabian Allen, Akeal Hosein (c), Shamar Springer, Obed McCoy, Jediah Blades

Nepal
Nepal may struggle against the T20 powerhouse that is the West Indies. Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh have shown flashes of ability at the top, but inconsistency against the better nations has plagued them.
The opening batting partnership failed to cross the 50-run mark in all of its matches in the team’s previous T20I series, played as a tri-series against Netherlands and Scotland. Captain Rohit Paudel’s leadership has yet to translate into consistent team performances.
Aarif Sheikh and Dipendra Singh Airee offer some experience, but both have struggled to be imposing figures. Airee got pumped for 50 runs in four overs in his last bowling stint at T20I level. The middle order of Lokesh Bam, Kushal Malla and Gulsan Jha may be called upon for a rescue act, but they are likely to crack under pressure.
Bam, with only 26 runs across four innings of the previous series, proves the point.
Sandeep Lamichhane is the standout name, but he becomes an easy target for opposition to play out and target the rest. Sompal Kami and Lalit Rajbanshi form a modest supporting cast in the bowling department, but it may not be too wise to expect them to be game changers.
Rajbanshi has not fully clicked in recent matches. Four wickets in his past four games is a below-par return for someone who the team will be heavily reliant on.
Nepal Expected Playing 11
Kushal Bhurtel, Aasif Sheikh (wk), Rohit Paudel (c), Aarif Sheikh, Dipendra Singh Airee, Lokesh Bam, Kushal Malla, Gulsan Jha, Sompal Kami, Sandeep Lamichhane, Lalit Rajbanshi
WI vs NEP Toss Prediction
Nepal’s last two T20I victories came from chasing. Both captains are likely to prefer getting ball in hand first up.
Pitch Report and Weather Conditions
As is typical of most pitches in the UAE, this should be a slow surface. Variations will be critical for the pace bowlers to find wickets. The spinners should naturally be assisted by the wicket. Batting could be a test at times, but timing and shot placement should be enough to get full value.
The previous first-innings total at this ground was 141 for eight by Pakistan in the UAE T20I Tri-Series final.
The players will be greeted with hot and dry conditions heading towards the mid-30s degrees Celsius. Humidity will be something to consider, but rain certainly won’t be.
WI vs NEP: Who Will Win?
Nepal is gaining experience on the international stage but still lacks the level of experience in the opposing lineup. The West Indies’ squad is filled to the brim with explosive T20 cricketers who should make this Nepalese side crumble under the pressure.
Bet on West Indies to win.
WI vs NEP win percentage stands at 83% in favor of WI.
